By the time she is of marriageable age, she is quite un-Princess-like, and no one wants to marry her. Then comes in the fairy Crustacea who's old and grumpy, and decides to give the princess the gift/curse of being "ordinary".Īs Princess Amy (Amethyst Alexandra Augusta Araminta Adelaide Aurelia Anne is not the name for someone so ordinary), she likes to do ordinary things, much to the despair of her parents. Except of course, for beauty, as she is the seventh child and already beautiful. Fairies are invited to her Christening, and the all give her gifts. The princess is going to be the seventh child born to King Hudlebrand and Queen Rodehesia, and everyone knows that the seventh child is always the nicest, most beautiful, kindest and all around best child to be born. The story starts when the birth of Princess Amethyst Alexandra Augusta Araminta Adelaide Aurelia Anne is announced.

The second part is more action thriller and not for the little kiddies.The Ordinary Princess is a Fairy Tale novel written by M.M. The first part is a princess movie for little girls. It would have been better to start the movie in that direction. It's like somebody turned on a switch in the movie. There is a change in tone for the last third of the movie. This is mostly boring and not for most audience. The directing from Mark Rosman is weak even for him. The creatures are either older style CGI or costumes.

The production is cheaper than usual TV movie. Nora Zehetner is certainly pretty and she has more charm than her male lead. Next to the princess, he is horribly under dressed. His looks is passable and only good in comparison to the sloppy best friend character who is also a terrible jerk. After half of his cheesy line, she cuts him off and mistakenly believes that he is her long-awaited savior, the searcher. She auctions herself off to raise the needed money and William wins with his last $50k only if she has the dinner out in the city. There are some strange creatures swimming in the pond and giant footprint in the garden. Princess Ithaca (Nora Zehetner) is holed up in her castle with mostly old ladies. They are invited to an endangered animals benefit hosted by a strange princess. Underacheiving William Humphries (Kip Pardue) is near the end of his trust fund after his many failed careers.
